Stanislav Arzhevitin
Stanislav Arzhevitin (born on June 14, 1961 in Kolochava, Zakarpats’ka oblast’) is a Ukrainian businessman, Chairman of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, People's Deputy of Verkhovna Rada.
Biography
Stanislav Mikhaylovich Arzhevitin was born on 14th June 1961 in Kolochava village, Mezhegorsky rayon, Zakarpattia Oblast[1][2][3]
Education and career
- 1978-1982, Kyiv Institute of National Economy (currently National Economics University) then started working for USSR Construction Bank (Stroybank) (later called Prominvestbank)
- 1982 - 1984,military service in USSR airborne forces[4]
- 1984 - 1991, continued working in Stroybank in various positions
- 1991 - 2005 became Chairman of the Joint Stock Bank Azhio (now SEB Bank)[5][6]
1992 - Stanislav Arzhevitin participated in the training course on bank management in Germany. Also he studied in: 1993 - USA, 1994 - Czech Republic , 1996 - Germany.
In 1998 he received his Ph.D. in Economics[7], his thesis was devoted to the problems of entrepreneurship and small business in Ukraine[8]. He is also the Academician of the National Academy of Human Problems, Associate of International Personnel Academy, Scientific Adviser of the Academy of Environmental Sciences[9].
Social and political activities
Since 1996, Stanislav Arzhevitin has been the General Treasurer of Ukrainian Cossacks, Deputy Hetman of Ukraine, Captain-General. Stanislav Arzhevitin is also known as philanthropist, in 2008 he founded the national literary prize named after Zoreslav[10], that aims to support writers and scholars who promote the creative achievements of Zakarpattia region and spiritual revival of Ukraine. He also wrote two books about the history of Kolochava village[11].
People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 6th Verkhovna Rada, was elected in November 2007 by the lists of "Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense Bloc".

- Order of Merit, I class (2008) - for significant contribution to the revival and development of historical and cultural traditions of Ukrainian Cossacks[12]
- Order of Merit, II class (2006) - for personal contribution to the implementation of monetary policy, for ensuring stable functioning of the banking system and high professionalism[13]
- Order of Merit, III class (1999) - for professional achievements and long-term selfless work[14]
- Ivan Mazepa Cross (2010) - award of the President of Ukraine, for personal contribution to the revival of Ukrainian historical heritage and professional activities[15]
- Certificate of Merit from Verkhovna Rada - for outstanding service to Ukrainian people
- Certificate of Merit from Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2001) - for long-term hard work, contribution to the development of credit and financial markets of Ukraine, professionalism and active social work[16]

Family
Stanislav Arzhevitin is married, is raising three sons with his wife Irina: Pavel (1987), Dmitry (1989) and Yaroslav (1999)[17]
